A complete route from your first account to your first saved policy decision.
Your first job is to understand the situation on the presidential desk. PRESIDO accepts a policy in your own words; you are not limited to choosing a preset answer. A good move links a public problem to a practical response, a source of money and a way to judge delivery.

1. Create an account§
Choose a public username and a password of at least 10 characters. Email is optional, but a saved email is needed for password recovery. The signup form displays an 18+ notice. See Accounts and profiles.
2. Create your leader§
Use Play now or New presidency. Select Presidency, name your fictional leader and choose the character appearance, home state, party, background, leadership style and scenario offered by the setup. Choose the free three-month tenure to begin. Cosmetic choices are distinct from the governing choices and attributes shown by the game.
3. Read the desk§
The current briefing names the issue and describes the crisis or opportunity. Read approval, stability, party unity, political capital and the main economic indicators. Check the country map and cabinet if you need context. In a priority incident, use the required response screen.
4. Write and submit a policy§
Specify what you will do, who benefits, who implements it, how it is paid for and what checks prevent waste. Choose an action mechanism or Auto. Add a public message if useful. A policy must have 12 to 1,200 characters; the optional message has a 500-character limit.
5. Review the result§
Wait for the save confirmation. Read the assessment, institutional checks, implementation result, changed indicators, citizens and newspapers. A successful saved policy advances the decision clock. Watching or skipping its clip does not repeat the policy. If a request fails, retry the pending decision instead of assuming it was saved.
6. Continue your story§
Return to My careers to resume the same country. Keep governing toward the final decision and election. After a winning free first term, paid continuation can begin a new term with the same progress. The Monthly Challenge has its own three-decision rules.
