Usernames, optional email, one allowed email update and password recovery.
A player account keeps careers and purchase entitlements together. Its public username is separate from the fictional leader names in its saves. The account form requires a username and password, while email is optional.

Signup requirements§
A username has 3–20 letters, numbers or underscores and starts with a letter. It is normalised without case distinctions. A new password must have at least 10 characters. The footer displays 18+ as the player-audience notice; it does not collect a birth date.
Opening My profile§
On mobile, choose More → My profile to open the bottom drawer. On desktop, click your username to open a wider profile window. The profile shows the saved email, verification state and whether the one allowed email update is already used.
One profile email update§
An initial signup email does not consume the later update. You can add an email if signup was blank, or replace an existing address, once. Enter your current password and confirm the link from the target inbox. The address changes only after confirmation; failed or expired requests do not consume the update. Confirming the unchanged signup address does not use it.
Forgot password§
Choose Forgot password? from sign-in and enter the email currently saved on your account. If an account uses it, a reset link is sent through the app’s email service. A reset link lasts 30 minutes and works once. Confirming email uses a separate link lasting 24 hours. Never paste either link or a password into a public chat.
If you did not add an email§
Add one while you can still sign in. The app does not provide a username-only or age-based bypass for a lost password. If you have no recovery email and cannot sign in, the automated email reset route cannot recover that account.
Progress after a reset§
A successful reset signs out previous player and admin sessions. Sign in again with the new password. Saved countries, characters, challenge records and verified tenure entitlements remain with the same account.
