How saved crises, inquiries and Nigerian service stories stay connected to one presidency.
A regular presidency has one saved country, one decision calendar and one set of continuing commitments. Story scenes present that record. Opening a scene, replaying dialogue or spending time offline cannot settle a case or move the calendar.
The response desk presents overlapping obligations one at a time. New fictional service stories add university disputes, host-community pollution, port delays and disease-response pressures to the career.

When several issues need your answer§
- An urgent cabinet conspiracy is presented first. Its constitutional response does not consume a policy decision.
- A required public accounts inquiry follows, then a political blackmail demand or political-payment inquiry. Existing choices, costs and game-over rules apply.
- An optional early coup warning is shown before the next policy can escalate it. You can close that warning or monitor it under its existing rules.
- Breaking news or a citizen protest then opens with the other required cases settled. Emergency policy responses use the normal next decision. A protest speech is a separate, unscored side action.
Four new Nigerian service storylines§
These are original fictional situations. They do not identify real victims or claim that an actual named university, company or clinic is involved in an incident.
| Story | Who speaks | The governing trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| A semester on hold | A student representative at a fictional Ibadan university | Lecturer salary arrears, safe laboratories, funding and a credible agreement. |
| When the creek stops feeding families | A Bayelsa fishing cooperative organiser | Clean water, independent spill investigation, livelihoods and operator accountability. |
| The cargo cannot leave Apapa | A Lagos small exporter | Cargo clearance, freight access, unofficial charges and transparent procurement. |
| The clinic needs more than a press briefing | An Edo clinic coordinator | Suspected Lassa fever, protective supplies, referrals and verified information. |
What the player does§
- Read the appeal on the presidency desk. Watch today’s briefing through Your story. Your character. to meet the person affected.
- Choose a possible direction or write your own policy, including funding, lawful responsibility and delivery. These appeals use the ordinary policy form and decision system.
- Read the saved report. The scene records your response, actual national indicators and delivery capacity. Ignoring the relevant service area is recorded as an unaddressed appeal; blocked measures do not become completed projects.
- Continue governing. Once another simulated month has been reached, a saved policy produces a follow-up that refers to the earlier promise and the country’s recorded indicators.
Calendar and tenure timing§
Appeals are scheduled around early, middle and later portions of a regular term, scaled to that save’s frozen decision count. Elections and existing priority incidents retain precedence. A side action does not silently replace an appeal or emergency already on the desk.
Very short saves with fewer than eight decisions do not add these arcs. Reviews that are still pending at the end of a won first term carry into an eligible paid second term, alongside the country, loans and other saved progress. A retired or removed presidency does not keep running while offline.
Interpret the follow-up carefully§
A national indicator is a fictional aggregate. Better education is not proof that every university has reopened. Better health is not independent confirmation that a creek is safe or an outbreak has ended. Lower inflation is not a verified port-clearance target.
The new citizen scenes acknowledge this limit and request delivery evidence. Their dialogue uses the saved response and review rather than a later unrelated briefing. The AI analyst also receives a bounded summary of earlier game commitments when assessing a regular presidency’s next proposal.
Monthly Challenge remains separate§
These additional arcs and the regular-career inquiry systems do not enter the shared-country Monthly Challenge. Viewing or replaying scenes adds no ranking points, salary, extra decisions or challenge attempts.
