Why several confidence indicators appear on the dashboard.
Public approval, government stability, party unity and institutional trust measure different parts of the fictional country. Improving one does not automatically improve the others. A strong governing record needs to survive public reaction, party pressure and delivery constraints.
Contents
Public approval§
Approval is the public mandate indicator. Citizens and states react to issue impacts, implementation and their particular interests. A headline or speech may change opinion, but it does not replace the underlying record. Approval is part of election and governance calculations.
Government stability§
Stability reflects whether the government can hold together under pressure. Crises, rejected appointments, weak delegation and unpopular choices can strain it. The Governance Index includes stability in its institutions component.
Party unity§
Party unity reflects cohesion within your fictional party. Meetings, appointments and bill decisions can affect it. A policy can appeal to voters while creating trouble within your governing coalition.
Institutional trust§
Trust is a national metric associated with governance and public accountability. Transparent delivery, oversight and handling of controversy matter. In the score formula, trust and stability are combined, so popularity alone cannot stand in for institutions.
Read the record together§
Compare these indicators with cabinet capacity, political capital and actual service results. Use the country map and power-bloc reactions to understand who is responding. None of the figures is a real opinion poll.
