Explore the fictional nation beyond the capital.

The country view covers all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Select a state on the geographic map, or use the state selector, to inspect its approval and local issue focus. The country is a saved fictional simulation.

Contents

Reading the map§

The map uses Nigerian geographic boundaries. Its approval colouring and gameplay weights are fictional. The colour key groups states by their current approval range; it is not a real electoral forecast. States have different issue priorities and weights in the game’s national calculations.

Local perspectives§

A decision on transport can matter differently to a farming community and an urban commuter. Housing, education, food, security and healthcare concerns can appear in local reactions. Examine more than your home state when assessing the governing record.

The map and elections§

State opinion contributes to the simplified presidential election model and to the public-mandate score component. The game’s election conditions are explained in Elections and campaigns, and should not be treated as the legal rules for a real election.

Geography credits§

The game’s boundaries are based on GRID3/geoBoundaries and carry CC BY 4.0 attribution. Illustrated Lagos settings also use attributed OpenStreetMap geography. Shareable map cards preserve relevant credits. Fictional characters and incident locations do not identify actual victims or report live events.
