The first-term ballot, campaign resources and the limits of paid continuation.
A regular presidency faces a fictional election at its final policy decision. Campaign activities and a televised debate become available near the end of the first term. Their windows follow the frozen decision budget, including ten-decision free terms.
Contents
Campaign activities§
The first-term campaign offers town halls, fundraising, tours and a manifesto. Non-fundraising activities require campaign funds; fundraising builds that separate resource. Campaign momentum helps the electoral position. A monthly activity slot and the active campaign window limit repetition.
The televised debate§
The debate opens before the final decision in its displayed window. Give an answer of at least 30 characters. Address the country’s situation and explain commitments. A good debate does not delete poor service delivery or make paid continuation independent of the result.
The fictional election model§
The game combines national and state opinion with the campaign record. Its simplified qualification requires a national majority and at least 25% in 24 of the 36 states; FCT contributes to the fictional national total. This describes PRESIDO’s model, not the legal interpretation of a Nigerian constitutional election.
The simulated Senate has 109 seats and the House 360. Their elections are presented alongside the presidency, rather than as a separate US-style midterm.
Winning, losing and retiring§
A loss ends the presidency. A payment cannot reverse it. A win at the end of a free first term opens an eligible paid second-term offer, subject to an unlocked, enabled duration. A career has at most two presidential terms. Second-term records continue the country without adding a third mandate.
