How to respond when a priority incident interrupts the normal desk.
Regular-career priority incidents can include fictional student abductions, attacks and floods. A breaking-news modal brings the recorded incident forward and requires the president’s attention. These are authored simulation events, not a live Nigerian news feed.

Read the incident§
Check the location, people affected, immediate risks and questions from the press. The response must address the incident actually recorded in the save. A unrelated national proposal cannot simply bypass it. The game preserves its context for reports and story replays.
Respond with an action policy§
Describe immediate civilian protection or relief, the lawful implementing bodies, funding and public accountability. The analyst must classify the response as an action rather than only a statement. The priority policy follows normal save and assessment safeguards.
Presidential communication§
A crisis clip may show a presidential address and questions demanding answers. Communication is part of the story, but does not replace the action required by a forced incident. Protest incidents have a separate speech route explained under Protests.
What remains accessible§
The player can leave the country view for My careers without resolving the incident. Critical health retains an emergency domestic-care route. Diplomatic absence and acting leadership can affect how a country responds. Current Monthly Challenges keep their published three-briefing sequence and do not generate these extra interruptions.
