People, portfolios and the capacity to turn a promise into a result.
The cabinet and vice president are part of the saved government. They have fictional identities and attributes, including competence and loyalty. Good implementation requires more than the president’s policy text.
Contents
Ministers and appointments§
Choose a listed nominee for a ministry through Cabinet. A nominee cannot hold a conflicting existing post. A regular appointment costs 12 political capital and uses that ministry’s monthly appointment slot. With institutional checks enabled, some appointments can be rejected by the Senate. A rejected nomination still has consequences; read the saved message.
Competence and loyalty§
Competence supports delivery; loyalty is relevant to political cohesion and acceptance. A candidate with one strength may have a weakness in the other. Inspect the offered attributes and the ministry’s issue responsibilities before replacing someone.
The vice president§
The vice president has a selected candidate and issue portfolio. Assigning a portfolio changes the area of delegated attention. When the president travels or reaches critical personal health, acting leadership and delegation quality can affect delivery and domestic risks.
Continuity§
The cabinet and vice president carry into an eligible second term with the same country. Saved appointment and leave scenes use the person involved at the time, so historical replays do not always show the current office holder. Shared challenge cabinet conditions are fixed for all entrants.
