Learn the trade-offs before submitting another career policy.
Practice rooms are short learning games separate from the saved country. Policy Lab lets you test a written proposal through the policy assessment flow. Neither is an extra Monthly Challenge decision.
Contents
Three practice rooms§
| Room | What it teaches |
|---|---|
| Policy trade-off quiz | Compare a funded delivery plan with an ungrounded promise. |
| Citizen priorities | Connect a fictional citizen to the issues they care about. |
| Central bank challenge | Try interest-rate choices across six fictional months of inflation and growth. |
Policy Lab§
Open Policy Lab from the player HQ or More drawer. Write a proposal and inspect its assessment. Lab reviews share the account’s analyst allowance with career reviews, so testing repeatedly is not unlimited. A lab result is an experiment, not a saved change to the current country.
The central-bank exercise§
The short exercise offers raising, holding or cutting its policy rate. In this simplified model, higher rates can cool price pressure while slowing activity. It is a practice game, not a complete monetary-policy simulation or financial recommendation.
Bring the lesson back§
Use the lessons to improve a policy’s funding, targeting and implementation. The current briefing and inherited conditions still matter. Memorising one favourable example is not a guarantee of a particular AI assessment or election outcome.
